Advance has been involved in the design and manufacture of these special cylinders for many years and we have worked closely with leading heat pump manufacturers to make sure the product works well with that technology. It isn't just a case of bigger coils, but coil capacities and positions in cylinders are critical, as is resistance. We have earned a good name and solid reputation for supplying high end heat pump cylinders to many prestige jobs as well as for many contracts such as social housing schemes.
The heat pump coils have large surface areas to get the best heat transfer, also they are designed for low resistance and the coils are positioned within the cylinder to lower return temperatures.
They have 60mm of injected polyurethane foam for low heat loss. The cylinders are guaranteed for 25 years, are WRAS approved and meet all relevant Building Regulations.
All cylinders are fitted with a 3kW immersion heater for thermal disinfection and back up. They can be connected to a PV (electric) solar installation.
The range cosists of 400 lityre and 500 litre capacity untis for light commecial use. They are fitted with DN32 low resistant coils for use with faster flow rates.
Coil outputs are measured at typical heat pump flow rates and temperatures.
